Hey, we’re Darylle and UltraMan!

We’ve been close friends for over a decade and bring 45 years of combined street dance experience to our students. Growing up as neighbors in Surrey, we came up side-by-side in the scene, from training in garages and rec centers to battling in the underground scene and coaching championship-winning teams together.

Darylle started dancing Hip Hop in 1996, began teaching in 2002, and founded Street Kings in 2013. UltraMan started teaching in 2012 and spent five years on faculty at Street Kings. Today, as co-owners, our shared vision is to build a vibrant, inclusive community for Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley families, using authentic street dance culture, hip hop, popping, breaking and waacking, to help kids build unstoppable confidence, self-esteem, and real skill.

Dance has taken us around the globe, created lifelong international friendships, and changed our lives forever. We’re beyond excited to welcome you into the Street Kings family and guide your dancer through the culture!

Mission Statement

At Street Kings, our mission is to honour Hip Hop’s roots while pushing the culture forward. Our studio is a true community where dancers of all ages come together to learn, grow, and express themselves freely. 

We emphasize the raw energy of freestyle, the art of battling, and the power of self expression, while keeping the tradition of learning in circles and mentorship alive. 

We bring out the highest levels of confidence and self esteem through hard work and positive encouragement, to nurture your abilities, and create the ultimate version of yourself.

At Street Kings, we don’t just teach dance, we cultivate a movement, a culture, and a family that lives and breathes Hip Hop.
